Thank you for visiting this portion of our website. We have diligently studied the Scriptures about the vital topics surrounding God’s relationship with man. We have summarized our convictions and conclusions here. We are always open to further study of the Bible on any of these matters, as our first priority is to know God through his word. God
We believe there is one God and that He is the God revealed in the Bible (Deuteronomy 6:4)
We believe Jesus is the son of God and that he was God in the flesh (2 Peter 1:1, Romans 9:5, John 14:9, Isaiah 9:6-7, John 1:1, John 1:14)
We believe in the redemptive and active working of the Holy Spirit of God (Romans 8:1-27)
Salvation
We believe that Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of the sins of the world. (1 Corinthians 15:1-8)
We believe that we are saved by the grace of God, not by our works, and that we are created to do good works in Christ (Ephesians 2:1-10)
We believe that God has given us a plan of salvation:
1. Believe in Jesus (Galatians 3:26-27, Mark 16:15-16)
2. Repent of our sins (Luke 13:3-5, Acts 2:37-38)
3. Complete death to our old way of life (Luke 14:33, Matthew 13:44-46, Colossians 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:14-17)
4. Be baptized for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:37-38)
Full immersion in water (Romans 6:1-5, John 3:23, Acts 8:38)
Baptism is the point of salvation (Mark 16:15-16, Acts 22:16, 1 Peter 3:18-21)
5. To live a faithful life till Jesus returns (John 15:1-8, Hebrews 10:36)
We believe it is possible for a person to lose their salvation, after receiving it, by deliberate, continual sin. (Hebrews 10:26-27, Hebrews 6:4-6, 1 Corinthians 9:27, John 15:1-8, Romans 11:22)
The Church
We believe there is one church and anyone who has become a Christian according to God’s plan is a part of that one church. (Ephesians 4:1-4, 1 Corinthians 12:12-13)
We believe the purpose of the church is to glorify God in this world by:
Honoring God with holiness (Ephesians 5:25-27, Hebrews 12:14)
Bringing lost souls the gospel of God (Matthew 28:18-20, Luke 19:10)
Having deep, one-another relationships (1 Peter 1:22, 1 Corinthians 13:1-10, Ephesians 4:14-15)
Serving the poor and needy in and out of the church (Galatians 2:9-10, Matthew 23:11)
